Over the Moon Bag's pattern was designed by Sig Wynne-Evans. She is a renowned bead artist, teacher and writer. The bag took me three weeks to complete. Its a small bag but again the pattern work is very difficult for me. I love this bag for its cheery look and the stars for the fringe were a great addition to the entire look of the bag. Fun stuff...healing are my beautiful beads.
The artist who designed the pattern for this bag is unknown. The bag was a tremendous challenge for me. I rarely do pattern work and found this bag a great teacher of patience and determination. The strap is made of crystals and shells as is the bottom fringe. I love shells and perhaps their story is more interesting than the bag. Shells come from the oceans essence, perhaps thousands of years of evolving to end up in my hands. Whenever I create a Spirit Bag I am always amazed at the hundreds of hands it took to get my beads, adornments and tools of the trade within my hands. |
